Empty yards, void commercial units and sites between build phases attract trespass, arson, fly-tipping and metal theft. Towers need no mains power or Wi-Fi, so they work on a boarded-up plot. Live monitoring means an operator can warn over the speaker and send a response, rather than a recording found after the weekend.
